During Jamindaari system of British Raj it was under Mali state. The mythology of village runs like –there was a daughter of Mali Raja who was very dear but suffering from chronic illness and there was no hope for her survival. In the meantime a person known as Toshdhar Vaidya , an Aaurved practitioner passing through the state boundary caught attention of the people and brought to Raja.
