इतिहास साक्षी है , सभी भारोपीय भाषा -भाषी दीर्घ अतीत में भारत भूमि पर मध्य -एशिया से आये , उन्हीं में शाकद्वीपीय ब्राह्मण भी हैं। सभी भारत में सनातन संस्कृति के संस्थापक और अनुयायी के रूप में प्रसिद्द हुए. बाद के जैन , बौद्ध , सिख , मुसलमान , ख्रीस्त धर्मावलम्बी भी इसी से उपजे। मत विभेद ने यह विच्छेद किया और सबों ने अपनी -अपनी पूजा पद्धति विकसित कर अलग सम्प्रदाय के रूप में मान्यता प्राप्त की। कालान्तर में आपसी वैमनष्य बढ़ता चला गया और सप्रदाय की कटुता बढ़ती गई। वर्चश्व की लड़ाई में सभी शामिल हो गए। इन सबों में भी अनेकानेक उपसम्प्रदाय बनते चले गए। अब जो स्थिति है विज्ञ जन उसे जानते हैं। शाकद्वीपी ब्राह्मण  बाहर से नहीं आये थे वल्कि भारत भूमि के ही आदि निवासियों में हैं। आधुनिक पुरातात्विक शोध ने  इसे स्पष्ट कर दिया है। शाकद्वीप का अर्थ है पादपों से  भरा द्वीप - अर्थात पुराना वंग (मगध ,अंग, वंग , कलिंग) वर्तमान झारखण्ड के ही निवासी थे।  इन्हीं क्षेत्रों  में उन्होंने  'सूर्य- वेधशालाओं " (सन ऑब्जर्वेटरी )की स्थापना की थी - २०१...

After invading Arabs succeeded in taking Ctesiphon in 637, Islam largely superseded Zoroastrianism, and the power of the Magi faded. Many (but not all) of the mages fled the advent of Islam in Persia, or Iran, by emigrating to India, settling in western principalities which form the modern states of Gujarat and Maharashtra. As one can only be Zoroastrian by birth, the number of Parses and Zoroastrians in the world is shrinking, and the remaining population risks passing down genetic defects as with any small community.
